Smurf happens! Far, far away, in a little mushroom village, live a group of little blue pixies in short trousers and white hats called the Smurfs. Only as tall as three apples, they speak in “Smurf”, a language that only they understand. The Smurfs are carefree, peaceful creatures that live in harmony with nature. On Thanksgiving Day they will make their way into the Big Apple and take part in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Inflatable Images was commissioned by the Macy’s Day Parade committee to recreate a children’s classic, The Smurf! With our newly upgraded 3-D design technology, we were able to bring to life a 24 ½ foot recreation of the fanciful blue creature. Inflatable Images has worked with Macy’s for many years developing various recreations such as Shrek, Grover from Sesame Street, and last years “Tugboat Mickey”.

Smurf us out this Thanksgiving while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Parade begins at 9:00 am EST on NBC!
